Holiday Dreams

Providing support, warmth and joy when it's needed most... during the holiday season and beyond!

For some children, youth and families, celebrating life’s milestones and special occasions with loved ones can be eclipsed by hardships and uncertainty. Funds and items received through the DREAMS Program enriches the holiday season but also extends the same joy to birthdays, graduations and many other occasions that should ALWAYS be special for young people, no matter what!

“We believe that every child and youth deserve to experience a carefree childhood while being cared for and loved, especially during the magical holiday season,” says Tina Blatchford, Executive Director of the Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton. “Our Holiday Dreams Program is more than just a gift-giving initiative – it’s a reminder that our community cares and wants to provide support every step of the way.”

Each year, individuals and organizations come together to donate gift cards, special gifts, funds, and their invaluable time, ensuring that the Holiday DREAMS Program is reaching everyone who needs support.


This year-round initiative requires extra support during the holiday season and provides hundreds of children and youth with:

  • gifts and treats
  • warm clothing and essentials
  • special holiday meals and celebrations
  • a sense of community care and connections
