The Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton accepts very specific in-kind (non-monetary) gifts. Please contact us or refer to the ‘wish list’ to be sure your gifts align with the needs of children, youth and families.

Community Partners
If you have gently used items to donate we partner with the following organizations who help us support families.
The Salvation Army Thrift stores in Oakville, Burlington & Milton. Yes, the stores sell your donations, however, funds raised through the Thrift stores are used to offer programs free of charge to the families we serve.
The Compassion Society in Burlington, Southside Church in Milton and SafetyNet in Oakville also gladly take gently used clothing and small household items, and re-distribute to families free of charge.
