Maura Richardson is an experienced Human Resources Executive who has acted as the Chief People Officer and HR Executive within several large Canadian organizations. Maura has extensive experience in fast-growth, complex organizations with expertise in organizational design, change & talent management developing strategies that deliver impact in diverse industries. A brand champion who builds inclusive cultures that drive talent attraction, engagement and retention. Career highlights include: Built an HR function and strategy for a PE-backed Animal Health Care company, resulting in two separate sale transactions and receiving “Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies Award” in 2020. Spearheaded & grew an HR function & strategy for a rapidly growing Canadian beauty retailer.  Created & launched corporate social responsibility programs in two organizations that increased employee engagement & retention. Maura and her husband have been involved with Halton Children’s Aid for 17 years.  After years of donating money and gifts, Maura had the opportunity to get involved in a more meaningful way by joining the board.  It is a personal story for Maura as her husband was in foster care until the age of six, so the opportunity to be a part of an organization doing such important and critical work is an honour & privilege.
