Jonathan Harty

Jonathan is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and works with Caribbean Banking at RBC – sadly for him, largely from a desk in Canada.  Jonathan is a second time around Board Director at CAFH, he’s also a proud member of our Ambassadors Circle, and recipient of the prestigious McPhie Award in 2020.

Jonathan first joined CAFH’s Board in 2006 and took on the role of Treasurer in 2007.  However, in 2009 Jonathan was relocated by RBC to the US.  Though called away, Jonathan maintained his engagement with the organization happy to check in, offer guidance, and continue his philanthropic influence even as he served on another charitable board for a 5-year period on his return to Canada.

Jonathan was pleased to rejoin the Board in 2021 when a vacancy presented itself and later returned to the role of Treasurer adding the role of Vice President in 2024.  As a father of a now adult son, Jonathan is passionate about the Foundation’s vision to provide a community where all children, youth, and families can reach their full potential.  No smile created nor fundraising amount is too small, it all adds up!
